Monday, July 16

7th Annual Support Connection Golf Outing: 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The golf tournament is set up in a shotgun scramble format, with registration from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.; lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. and tee-off at 1 p.m. An open bar cocktail hour is scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner from 7 to 9 p.m. with an awards ceremony. The event is hosted by Club Fit and benefits Support Connection, an organization dedicated to providing emotional, social and educational support to women who have been affected by breast and ovarian cancer, along with their families and friends. PJ Story Time: 7 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to bring their stuffed animals and listen to nighttime stories. Don’t forget to wear your pajamas. There is no registration and no fee. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Put On Your Own Puppet Show: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome to spend the day as a puppeteer. No registration is necessary, and there is no fee. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Wednesday, July 18

Writers’ Workshop: 11 a.m. to noon. Professionals and hopefuls will discuss their work under the guidance of Pam Pooley. Anyone interested in writing is invited to drop in. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Planning Board: 7:30 p.m. The planning board will meet in the Annex of the North Salem Town Hall, 274 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Thursday, July 19

Puzzle Day at the Ruth Keeler: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome to enjoy assembling puzzles. Bring your own or use one of the library’s puzzles. No registration is necessary, and there is no fee. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Drawing with Maggie Zander: 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Another in the eight-session weekly course geared to adults over 55 and funded by a grant from Creative Aging in New York State Libraries.
