South Salem FD Carnival Begins Wednesday

SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The South Salem Fire Department is hosting its annual carnival this week, from Wednesday to Saturday, and the parade is on Wednesday.

"There will be the usual carnival greats such as games and rides, prizes to be won, the raffle, great food, funnel cake, t-shirts and everything else you've come to expect from the SSFD carnival and parade!" the department notes.

Here are the carnival hours:

Wednesday, Aug. 10 -- 6-10 p.m. -- with the parade at 7 p.m., ending at that firehouse
Thursday, Aug. 11 -- 6-10 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 12 -- 6-10 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 13 -- 5-10 p.m.

Ride bracelets and tickets will be offered each night. Raffle tickets will continue to be sold throughout the carnival, with the drawing on the last night, and the winners don't need to be present for the drawing.
