The fight broke out around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday on the campus of the Graham School at 1 South Broadway, in Hastings-on-Hudson, near the Odel Cottage, according to Hastings-on-Hudson Police Lt. David Dosin.

Officers responded to the school, which was placed on lockdown, along with officers from the Yonkers Police Department and Westchester County.

After officers were able to restore order, three girls and a boy were arrested, Dosin said.

The Graham School is a residential education and treatment center that serves more than 300 at-risk students, some who are residents on the campus.

The girls — ages 15, 16 and 17 — were each charged with second-degree riot, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, Dosin said.

The two older teens were being held at the police station, the 15-year-old was sent back to the school, and will appear in village court Thursday along with the others, he added.

The 16-year-old male student was also charged with second-degree riot, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest. He is also being held at the police station until appearing in court on Thursday, Dosin said.

"We are grateful to our staff and our partners in law enforcement from Hastings and Yonkers for responding swiftly to ensure that no one was seriously injured," said Graham School Executive Director and CEO Jess Dannhauser. "We will be working to address this behavior with our young people and ensure a safe environment in which they can learn and develop the skills to be successful adults."

More charges could be filed against all as the investigation continues, he added.
