NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - As gas prices continue to rise, drivers might find it worth their while to go a few extra miles for a better price. Here are some recent prices for premium grade gasoline at stations near North Salem.
As of Sunday, the least expensive gas was at the Citgo Station on Route 52 in Carmel. The price was $4.23 per gallon. The Citgo Station on Route 22 in Brewster was charging $4.31 and both the BP and Hess Stations on Route 22 in Brewster were charging $4.33.
The Shell Station on Route 22 in Croton Falls was at $4.39, closely followed by the Lukoil Station on Route 6 in Mahopac.
If your travels take you through Ridgefield, the Getty Station on Danbury Road was charging $4.47, the Shell Station $4.79. The best buy in Ridgefield was the Valero Station, located where Danbury Road meets Route 7. Premium gas was priced at $4.29 per gallon.
