Man Charged In Brewster Assault Used Brick As Weapon, Police Say

BREWSTER, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Dutchess County man on Monday, Oct. 27 with assault after he reportedly attacked his victim with a brick in Brewster, officials said.

Robert J. Palumbo, 44, reportedly struck his victim several times causing injury before leaving the scene, police said. 

Palumbo was arraigned before the Town of Kent Court and remanded to Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, police said.
