On the Republican side, the poll found Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford and golf clubs in Hopewell Junction and Briarcliff Manor, leading with 56 percent of Republican voters supporting him, in New York, where primaries are on April 12.
The poll also showed that he is a favorite among women and women of all ages, said The New York Times.
On the flip side, Clinton, a Chappaqua resident since 1999, leads U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, 54 percent to 42 percent, the poll showed. She also rated higher with women and older voters. The poll also showed Clinton beating Trump if the election was just between the two, with Clinton beating Trump 53 - 33 percent, added The New York Times.
