PURDYS, N.Y. -- For the fourth year in a row, Purdys Farmer & the Fish restaurant in North Salem has donated to critically ill children.
It has filled its entire ceiling and bar with hearts handmade by local resident Bobby Flowers. Customers have donated a minimum of $5 per heart and written beautiful words to loved ones on them.
They are then hung from the ceilings for all to see.
The restaurant raises more than $3,000 and donate it to Friends of Karen in Purdys for the families of critically ill children.
