NORTH SALEM, N.Y. Eileen P. Varachi of North Salem died June 24 at Danbury Hospital. She was 59.
Varachi was born April 21, 1953, in New Rochelle to James William New Jr. and Geraldine Thompson New.
She is survived by her husband, John Varachi; her mother; four daughters, Jamie Mannix, Jennifer (Andrew) Fox, Elizabeth Varachi and Sarah Varachi; two sisters, Mary (Irwin) Stockel and Veronica (Neil) Rehders; three brothers, James (Luann) New, Gerald (Trish) New and William New; three grandchildren, Eddie Soto and Hannah and Avery Fox; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church in Croton Falls. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
