No one was aboard at the time of the fire. Brookfield firefighters put out the fire late Aug. 29, and members of the Brookfield Police Department's dive team went in Sept. 2 to help find the boat, WLAD-AM reports.

Police dive team members used side scan solar technology to find the vessel and marked it with a buoy, according to the Brookfield Police Department's Facebook page. It was later removed, officials said.
