New York State Police troopers were dispatched to Paulding Lane in Cortlandt on Thursday, Nov. 29, where there was a report of a stolen vehicle and money.

Police said that the investigation into the stolen vehicle determined that Kyle Heady, 29, arrived at the home of a former romantic partner and forcibly stole his victim’s car. He then allegedly proceeded to force his victim to write a $300 check.

Heady was arrested and charged with two counts of robbery, both felonies. He was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail. Heady was scheduled to appear in court to respond to the charges.
