Sabino Cooper, 18, turned himself in to Danbury police on Tuesday, Dec. 13 on an active warrant. Cooper was charged with two counts each of second-degree larceny, failure to give cancellation notice and violation of the home improvement contract requirements.
Police said Cooper showed up unannounced in September at the homes of a 95-year-old Danbury resident and of a 90-year-old resident, performed unauthorized work and then demanded money.
Cooper was held on $15,000 bond.
The investigation is continuing into the incidents, and more arrests are expected, police said.
The arrest was a result of a joint investigation with the Danbury Police Department and the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.
