The crash occurred near 196 Glenside Ave. around 10 p.m., Summit Police Spokeswoman Amy Cairns said.
The rider was rushed to Morristown Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition as of Wednesday, Cairns said.
The cause was under investigation.
