NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows made a return last week for their 33rd year, featuring Olympic gold medalists and top competitors from all over the country.
Old Salem Farm’s beautifully manicured grounds, list of elite horses and riders, and social gatherings draw spectators from across the region who delight in strolling the pristine grounds, shopping on "Boutique Row," and sampling the tasty food and beverage selections - all while watching horses and ponies of every size compete for hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money.
Sunday at the farm, Boutique Row opened at 10 a.m., there was face painting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the $50,000 Old Salem Farm Grand Prix, presented by the Kincade Group, capped off the day.
