A man who crashed his van and got out to investigate the damage in Montgomery County was struck and killed by a BMW driver, police say. Clinton resident Earl William Smith, 43, has been identified as the person who was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash in Rockville early on Wednesday morning. Rockville Volunteer FD Bilked By Cyber Criminals Out Of $200K Earmarked For New Ambulances
Cyber criminals got the best of a Maryland fire department that is out of more than $200,000 that had been earmarked to purchase two ambulances. The Rockville Volunteer Fire Department issued an alert on Thursday advising that a group posing as a vendor the agency had been working with had been bilked in late April as they continue to recover the cash.
