A 36-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash in Parsippany on the evening of Monday, May 6, authorities said. At 8:55 p.m., at West Hanover Avenue and Gov. Authorities from Bergen and Rockland counties who arrested a man accused of selling a fentanyl-laced dose of Xanax that killed a user from Suffern reported finding two stolen guns in his Paterson home. A suicidal man was hospitalized after responders said he deliberately walked into Route 46 traffic in Little Falls early Monday afternoon. The 33-year-old man, who they said spoke only Spanish, was struck near the Browertown Road exit -- apparently after some type of domestic incident -- shortly before 1 p.m. May 6. He was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson with serious bodily injuries. Trapped Construction Worker Dies In NJ Trench Tragedy: Police
A construction worker was killed after he was trapped in a large hole in Kenilworth on the morning of Monday, May 6, authorities said. Around 9 a.m., the construction workers were attempting to install a storm drain in the back of the business on Monroe Avenue using an excavator when the man became trapped, Kenilworth police said. First responders attempted life saving measures but the worker, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
