Hudson Valley Wine & Chocolate Festival Supports Putnam Nonprofit
PATTERSON, N.Y. – A fest set in Putnam County's Patterson this weekend will give wine and chocolate lovers the chance to sip, sample, and shop -- and help others at the same time.
The gustatory gala is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2, at the Patterson Recreation Center, 65 Front St.
Proceeds from the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival will go to support Partners with PARC, a Brewster-based nonprofit dedicated to “securing the financial future of people with disabilities.”

Hilltop Hanover Farm, 1271 Hanover St., has scheduled its annual Easter Egg Hunt from 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, according to a statement from the farm.
Included in the event are tours of the farm and a visit from the Easter Bunny, the business said, adding that the farm stand will also be offering fresh, seasonable produce, herbs and cut flower for sale.

Somers' Reis Park Getting Party For 50th Birthday
SOMERS, N.Y. -- A celebration will be held in late April to mark the 50th birthday of Reis Park, the Somers Library, which is located in the park, announced.
The park, named after Carolyn Wright Reis, was established in 1967.
The party will be on Saturday, April 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be an array of attractions at the birthday bash, according to the library.
